Diploma in Civil Engineering TechnicianCivil engineering is the process of applying sound structural principles to new buildings and infrastructure. Civil engineering technicians assist engineers throughout these projects, from helping collect data to monitoring progress and creating reports.

 

The technician also plays a role in the planning process, analyzing plans and creating reports .Duties include drafting plans with Computer-Automated-Design(CAD) software, estimating project cost and researching and applying specifications.

This can involve working regularly onsite from a satellite office or company vehicle, or occasional visits to the construction site; maintaining project records and files, monitoring work progress at worksites, and evaluating compliance of relevant industry standards and codes.

Admission Requirements

KCSE Mean Grade C-(Minus) or its equivalent. Or Competent at Level 5 in a related area.

Intake: January, May, September

Duration of Training: 2 Years(6 Semesters)

Fees: Ksh.77000 Per academic year
