Programme Description
An Automotive Technician, or Automotive Service Technician, fixes, inspects and maintains cars, trucks, and other vehicles. The Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicle engine systems. They also Repair brake and steering systems, Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic systems, Replace or repair transmissions and fuel components, Repair cooling components and systems including air conditioners and engine cooling, and Perform emissions inspections, safety checks and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations.
After completion of this course at MUST, you can either go straight into self-employment or into an organization for salaried employment.
Admission Requirements
KCSE Mean Grade C-(Minus) or its equivalent. Or Competent at Level 5 in a related area.
